We offer classes in technical skills, management, leadership, and self-improvement to prepare employees for current assignments and future career goals. Hourly field employees can develop and improve their skill set or master a range of new techniques through on-the-job training, technical courses, and professional certifications.
Superintendent Career Path
This program trains high-achieving foremen to become qualified PC Construction project superintendents through a range of skill development rotations. We work with these talented employees to develop a more detailed understanding of field engineering, office management, estimating, scheduling, and field management that can advance their career to the next level.
PC Construction encourages every employee to take the initiative to guide his or her own learning. To support this, we work with employees to develop customized Learning Plans that document development goals and provide the tools and resources needed to reach those goals. Through these plans, employees can request college classes, computer training, workshops, books, rotations through other departments, and other creative approaches to learning.
Leadership Development Program
Over 30 years ago, we developed this program to identify and coach future leaders from within the PC Construction team. This program targets energetic, highly motivated employees who strive for excellence and are ready to embrace the demanding expectations of our profession. Emerging leaders receive hands-on training through four vigorous rotations in field work, office engineering, scheduling, and estimating. Each rotation provides a real-world look at each facet of our operations, allowing employees to broaden their understanding of the business and develop a strong foundation for professional growth at PC Construction.
