Project Overview
This $18 million project, the first CM at-Risk treatment plant project in Maine, replaced equipment and systems at the end of their useful lives while improving plant efficiency and reducing long-term operating costs.
Construction included two maintenance facility buildings; a headworks building; replacement of the influent junction structure and sludge dewatering system; upgrades to the existing headworks area and septage receiving, disinfection system, sludge holding tanks, odor control system, plant water system and alkalinity/PH adjustment system; modifications to primary effluent pumping system; and improvements to structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, SCADA and instrumentation systems.
