Champlain College IDX Student Life Complex

This new, 42,000-square-foot building with three open connected levels includes a dining hall, servery, kitchen, fitness center, full-size gymnasium, multi-purpose recreation room, student lounge with fireplace, game room and an outdoor terrace. The project features sustainable energy efficient systems such as a green roof, high efficiency boilers and an energy-efficient chiller ice storage system utilizing off-peak demand.

The complex was constructed in two phases to eliminate the need for temporary facilities and allow for early occupancy for a large portion of the new program, saving the College more than $1 million.
