Concord Hospital Surgical Services Expansion and Renovation

This hospital expansion and renovation was situated on a complex site adjacent to existing surgical services and above fully operational loading docks. The project included an 11,320-square-foot two-room operating suite addition over the existing roof and materials management space, and a complete renovation of 17,310 square feet of existing day surgery, pre- and post-surgical areas, PACU and associated support space. Work included the addition of a connector to existing facilities, a central plant replacement and expansion, and substantial infrastructure upgrades.

BIM modeling was fully integrated throughout the preconstruction phase and a complex phasing schedule eliminated impacts to patient care.
