CVPH Musculoskeletal Center and Cardiology Addition and Renovations

The work on CVPH’s musculoskeletal and cardiology units included the complete renovation of 19,000 square feet of space in the 1980s medical office building and the more recent medical arts building. The finished space includes 36 exam rooms, 23 offices, registration and waiting areas, nursing stations, onsite imaging and clinical support spaces. A 5,500-square-foot addition provides an entrance canopy for patient drop-off, a new two-stop elevator, stair access to the second floor, a finished vestibule and corridor space.

Throughout construction, the two departments remained in operation which required a carefully phased approach to safely complete the work within the occupied spaces. A total of six phases, with six separate turnovers, were orchestrated to ensure services weren’t disrupted.
