Project Overview
A new 40,000-square-foot, two-story outpatient surgery center on the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center campus. The facility features eight operating rooms, outpatient lab services, a central sterile processing area, and support and public access spaces.
The project included substantial site work including clearing the wooded site, dewatering and over-excavating to remove poor quality soils and replace with imported soils; installation of an under-drain system beneath the floor slabs to improve site drainage; and extensive MEP installations consisting of a complete medical gas system, emergency generator, chillers, boilers and a rooftop air handling unit.
