Kennebunkport Consolidated School Addition and Renovations

The rehabilitation and expansion of this elementary school addressed structural and program deficiencies, life-safety code issues, ADA accessibility, and overall building system needs. An extensive 32,000-square-foot renovation to the existing school included new electrical, fire alarm and plumbing systems and a roof replacement. A 5,600-square-foot addition included two new classrooms, a music room, group bathrooms and a mechanical mezzanine.

Work completed also included interior life safety and ADA code upgrades; mechanical and electrical system upgrades; two parking lots; a storm drainage system; and improved vehicular traffic flow.
