Overlooking Brickyard Cove on the Maine Coast, this 7,200-square-foot two-story facility is home to L.L.Bean’s kayaking, paddleboarding, mountain biking, fly-fishing and archery guided expeditions and adventures. The upper level features open ceilings and steel trusses, a multi-purpose room, reception area, staff administration space, computer kiosk area and bathrooms. The lower level houses staff prep areas, storage for outdoor gear and locker rooms.

The structural steel framed building features exposed Douglas fir rafters, tongue-and-groove roof decking, sealed concrete floor with radiant heating and a post-and-beam wraparound porch on three sides of the building.
