Project Overview
This 25,000-square-foot Relais & Chateaux hotel, located directly on the shores of Lake Placid in the heart of the Adirondacks, was built in the same style as the original late-1800s structure that was destroyed by a massive fire.
Heavy timber framing, intricate twig work finishes and 17 uniquely designed and crafted indoor and outdoor fireplaces provide the structure for the rustic cabin. Each of the Lodge’s 13 guest suites feature one-of-a-kind furniture made by different artisans and have majestic lake and mountain views. A large full-service kitchen with an expansive wine cellar, 70-seat formal dining room and dining porches, one-of-a-kind event spaces and a pub complete the guest experience.
