Legislative Parking Garage

This 104,000-square-foot parking garage, located in the heart of the Concord’s historic center, will provide 400 parking spaces and bicycle storage to serve the City’s legislators. With four floors, it is comprised of a poured concrete foundation and precast walls and nearly doubles the capacity of the former parking structure, helping ease downtown parking constraints.

The garage was designed to blend with the surrounding ornate buildings. Details such as window-like openings, precast concrete stamped with a limestone pattern, and glass fiber reinforced concrete columns create an enhanced façade similar to the adjacent State House and Legislative Office Building.

The new structure occupies nearly an entire city block, framed by Green, School, Capitol and North State streets, requiring extensive subcontractor coordination and just-in-time material delivers.
