Project Overview
Omni Mount Washington Resort, located at the base of Mount Washington, was originally opened in 1902, and declared a National Historic Landmark in 1986. This project addressed the need to expand and enhance the guest experience while preserving the hotel’s history and grandeur.
The four-story, 60,000-square-foot addition to the resort’s presidential wing includes 69 luxury rooms, a spa garden and major renovations to the conference center kitchen and rooftop terrace. Each guest room features luxury finishes including custom wallpaper, wood trim and a claw-foot soaking tub. The addition is connected to the existing hotel’s spa and required extensive coordination, phasing and communication to minimize impacts to the occupied all-season resort.
