Project Overview
This new $66.8 million wastewater treatment plant on an 80-acre greenfield site features advanced treatment technology and two 8-mgd process trains for a total capacity of 16 mgd.
Work included excavation of over 400,000 cubic yards of material and placement of over 32,000 cubic yards of concrete for the construction of a headworks facility with screening and grit removal systems, primary clarifiers, primary sludge pump station and final clarifiers. Additional components include an activated sludge treatment system with UV disinfection and aeration basins; an anaerobic sludge digestion complex capable of biogas recovery for re-heating; RAS/WAS and high water pump stations; and an administration, laboratory and maintenance building.
