Project Overview

Located in the center of campus, this new three-story 51,000-square-foot laboratory and research facility provides 60 laboratories and a 3,500-square-foot Class 1000 cleanroom for research and development in the areas of nanotechnology, microfabrication, sensors and biotechnology. The facility also features research space, an auditorium, faculty offices, conference rooms and a mechanical penthouse with sophisticated HVAC and control systems to regulate laboratory and cleanroom environments.

The state-of-the-art complex is focused on scientific research and applied research and development and houses the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and the Laboratory for Surface Science and Technology Department (LASST).
