Project Overview
This new parking facility, located in the heart of the University’s Portland campus, supports USM’s new Portland Commons Residence Hall and McGoldrick Center for Career & Student Success, also constructed by PC. The garage serves as the primary entrance to both the new and adjacent existing campus parking facilities and provides 505 spaces for student, faculty and community parking.
The four-level, 180,000-square-foot precast parking structure supports the University’s commitment to sustainability with features such as secured storage for more than 250 bicycles, a bicycle repair room and 58 Level Two electric charging stations, making this garage the largest Level Two EV-charging station and the largest indoor bicycle storage area in Maine.
