Project Overview

Construction of a 258,000-square-foot complex located on a 12-acre site in the heart of UVM’s campus. The project includes six four-story buildings with a total of 800 student beds, apartments, faculty and student administrator living areas, full kitchens, support spaces, lounges, multi-purpose rooms, game rooms and a partial basement for mechanical systems. Detailed finishes include maple-veneer wall surfaces and granite hearths to redefine the campus living experience.

Sustainable interior features include conservation controls, mechanical efficiencies, low-emissivity insulated glass and local natural materials. The exterior utilizes alternative stormwater management through green roofs and vegetated swales.

Significant site demolition, blasting and utility enabling work was completed adjacent to occupied dormitories and athletic facilities.
