PC Construction continued its years-long tradition with a $5,000 donation to The Classic Mike Loyer Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting Vermont families impacted by the accidental worksite death of a loved one. The donation was recognized on Sunday at their annual fundraising golf tournament.
The Classic Mike Loyer Foundation was founded in 2011 after the tragic death of Mike Loyer in a construction site accident.
“We’re proud to play a small part in the important work of the Classic Mike Loyer Foundation,” said Eve Norris, PC Vice President. “Particularly in a small state like Vermont, the construction community feels like family. We’re very fortunate that this organization is here to coordinate financial and moral support during times of extreme grief and hardship.”
Since its inception eight years ago, the Classic Mike Loyer Foundation has provided financial support to impacted Vermont families in the construction community as well as countless other individuals with needs ranging from medical conditions and addiction to basic needs and financial hardship. PC’s partnership has helped support over 250 smaller contractors and their families over the past 10 years.
