Last Thursday, a team of 14 PC Construction employee owners participated in the 41st annual Vermont Corporate Cup Challenge, one of Vermont’s oldest and largest 5K races. The event brings over 2,000 Vermonters together in Montpelier to promote physical fitness in the workplace and at home.
We set out on the course on one of Vermont’s first warm (and very humid) spring evenings. This race is always different than most where the finish line isn’t necessarily a goal but a destination with time taken along the way to enjoy the company of our colleagues outside of work. This year, it especially satisfying to see our state capital bustling with activity after the devastating floods last summer.
Thanks to everyone who came out to enjoy this year’s Corporate Cup. I, for one, am already looking forward to next year!
