PC Construction Promotes Matt Cooke to Chief Operating Officer

South Burlington, VT – PC Construction has announced the promotion of Matt Cooke to Executive Vice President / Chief Operating Officer of the 100% employee-owned company. Cooke has been with PC for 22 years, and previously served in the roles of Vice President and Construction Executive.

“We’re excited to have Matt serve us in this capacity,” said PC President / CEO Jay Fayette. “He is a demonstrated leader with an incredible understanding of the construction industry and of PC. Projects under his direction have consistently met or exceeded owner expectations and PC’s goals. Matt is well-known for forging strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors. We’re very fortunate to have him leading our operations.”

Cooke advanced through PC’s Leadership Development Program upon graduation from Wentworth Institute of Technology, progressing from a field-based project engineer to a senior project manager responsible for growing PC’s client base. From there, he took on senior leadership roles responsible for the company’s buildings operations in Vermont, New Hampshire and New York. In his role as Chief Operating Officer, Cooke will be responsible for overseeing all of the company’s projects and support services, providing operations-focused leadership for project teams across all markets along the eastern seaboard.

An avid boater and sports fan, Cooke is a resident of Ferrisburgh, Vermont, with his wife Tammy and two sons Brantley and Rhett.
