PC Construction recently joined Mirbeau Companies at a groundbreaking ceremony for their new 50-room upscale hotel and European-style spa in Rhinebeck, New York. The event celebrated the beginning of the company’s third inn and spa, which officially began construction in late spring.

The Mirbeau Inn & Spa Rhinebeck, scheduled to open in fall 2019, is situated in the heart of Rhinebeck Village on nearly three acres surrounded by forests, offering a secluded setting easily accessible from New York City and Albany. The 76,000-square-foot facility will be built in the style of an old-world Parisian hotel, complete with modern guest amenities and the brand’s award-winning French-inspired bistro and wine bar. The Mirbeau Inn & Spa Rhinebeck will feature a 12,000-square-foot spa with 14 treatment rooms, a thermal pool, a eucalyptus-infused steam room and Himalayan salt saunas, as well as a year-round aqua terrace.

Construction is moving along at a great pace. We have completed the piles, foundation and perimeter concrete walls and are underway with concrete placement for the building’s parking level. Structural steel will begin in early August with upper level wall panels and trusses following in September.
