On August 5, the PC Paddlers geared up and took to the waters of Lake Champlain for the annual Dragon Boat Festival, an event that brings together people young and old to support cancer survivors in our community.
The PC Paddlers had the 8th best qualifying time of over 50 teams, seeding us in Division A where we took on WND&WVS in the Division A Quarterfinal. Even though we lost to WND&WVS – who went on to win the whole event for the fourth year in a row! – the day was a huge success, raising significant funds to support cancer outpatient programs in Vermont.
