On Wednesday, the PC Construction team joined Northwestern Medical Center in celebrating their newly completed medical office building in St. Albans, Vermont. The two-story 42,000-square-foot building includes urgent care, primary care, orthopedics and laboratory spaces as well as upper level shell space for future use. This facility is attached by a connector to the 14,000-square-foot medical clinic building addition completed by PC Construction in April. The new medical office building will be open for patient care in mid-November.
The entire project began last May and included various renovations and additions throughout the medical center’s campus. Work included a 14,000-square-foot, 20-room medical/surgical/ICU addition; a 14,000-square-foot medical clinic building; the 42,000-square-foot medical office building with connector corridor; a 6,000-square-foot lobby renovation; a loading dock expansion; and the relocation of the loop road around the facility. The renovation of a 13,000-square-foot, 14-room inpatient space is currently underway and is expected to be complete in January 2018.
