A PC crew recently gathered at AD Williams Park in the Upper West Side of Atlanta with one goal – partner with Rebuilding Together Atlanta and Republic Services to improve baseball fields for Atlanta’s youth. PC placed the concrete for dugout pads and fencing was installed by C&C Fence. Now the fields sport new dugouts and backstop.
The Police Athletic League of Atlanta, a nonprofit serving Atlanta youth, uses the baseball fields for after school and summer programming. The improvements will help keep their baseball players safe and close to the action once they resume activities.
We’ve been building here in the Atlanta area for many years and it is always so rewarding to get out into the community and give back, especially when families and children are the ultimate recipients. I’m proud of my team for pitching in. Big thanks to Mario, Saul, Ramiro, Moises and Ron for taking time out of their day to make this project possible!
